London is a global media centre with the greatest concentration of Arab media. Well-informed and accurate coverage of developments in the Arab and Islamic worlds are vital in today’s climate of concern and anxiety. Equally vital is a balanced assessment how the Arab world views the non-Arab world. AIM is non-partisan and apolitical
ObjectivesAIM’s objective is to develop closer links between the media in the Arab and the non-Arab world. The group seeks to do so by developing a better understanding of issues among those involved in the media. This includes developing a greater shared awareness of the constraints and culture within which the international media operates...
AIM Team AIM is led by Ghayth Armanazi, the former Arab League ambassador to London Lord Thomson of Monifeith, a former British Foreign Minister & European Commissioner, chairs the patrons of AIM.
