AIM Projects The last meeting of the AIM Network was the workshop "Shooting the Messenger - Journalists at Peril in the Middle East", supported by the A.M. Qattan Foundation at Wednesday, 23rd July 2003 in the Foreign Press Association, London. Summary Scores of journalists have died since 9/11 covering the trouble spots of the Middle East. Conflict journalism has always been a risk but the media has suffered greater casualties in recent months than ever before. The Arab International Media Forum is therefore holding a discussion briefing to bring those concerned with reporting the news and commissioning international news reports to review with the relevant authorities and international agencies how best to address the issue.
