Women in Energy - Gas Energy Discussion at Qatar Embassy

 

 

A sister organisation to the Widnsor Energy Group is Access for Women in Energy, chaired by Lady Judge of the UKAEA and directed by Dr Carole Nakhle of Surrey University.   The group will be holding a dinner discussion that looks at developments in gas markets ranging from the mega South Hook project to the possible use of gas to liquid as a green fuel for aviation. It will be hosted by the Qatar ambassador at his residence later this month.

Summary

The WEG Annual 2008 Consultations and Seminar will take place by invitation at St George’s House, Windsor Castle, from Friday, 7 March to Sunday, 9 March 2008. Main sessions and the Ambassadors’ Dinner will be in the Vicars’ Hall. The Ambassadors’ Briefing will be in the Picture Gallery in the Middle Ward  The main theme is Global Energy Security with panel discussions on Paying for Climate Change, New Nuclear Options, Geopolitics of the Gulf, Pacific Rim Energy Competition and Developing New Energy Reserves.  The programme comprises:
